Lately, I’ve really enjoyed following the #drawingwhileblack hashtag on Twitter. It’s an initiative started by Abelle Hayford to celebrate and promote black artists around the world, and they also created a helpful little directory that's organized by industry. I feel like I have a decent number of followers who hire illustrators, and I hope that you'll be encouraged to consider them for your next project (or buy some of their art, or connect with them on social media).
